Waters 80357 Deuterium Lamp
For sale- a Waters 80357 Deuterium Lamp, part number WAT080357.
This is an ultraviolet light source that I believe would be a replacement for the Waters 484 Tunable Absorbance Detector, but I urge you to do your own homework relative to any intended application.
It may have other applications as well.
The lamp appears to be NOS/New Old Stock but the box isn’t sealed so I have no way to ascertain that.
Let me reiterate the OLD part of that, the lamp would appear to be dated 12/88 as you can see in the pictures, and it is an OEM Waters part, I would guess there were other companies producing cheaper replacements when the 484 was a newer instrument.
But no doubt Waters didn’t actually make it, they sourced it from a Japanese company, looks like the logo would be VT or TV or perhaps HVT or HTV, their model number L1789-01.
Untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.
However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.

Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.
