    Spode (Sheffield) Jug/Pitcher; good condition, depicting the fox hunt.   Slight crack on bottom which runs up only 2" on one side.  Beautiful bas-relief of 2 horses saddled, with dog jumping over fence on one side,  a man in a tree under the spout of the pitcher, and dogs around the fox. In the family for years. Was made approximately 1796 !   Enclosed is an ad from 1938, listing one somewhat like it for which is about ,166.44 in today's money !
