Hayward Mark 45 Mod 0 US Navy Binoculars WWII

Description

This is an original Hayward Mark 45 Mod 0 7x50 binocular made during WWII.  The glass is perfect and they are in collimation.  These had drawn bodies and are considered some of the finest glass made during the war.  Many of these were used on US submarines due to them being very waterproof.  These are also the only pair of handheld binoculars that I know of that have a grease zerk fitting on the hinge.  The right prism plate was scrubbed after the war probably for civilian sale.  I am only selling these because I have a pair in better condition.
