Offering a beautiful set of four (4) earthenware dinner plates by Copeland Spode in the Spode’s Byron pattern, S518, production beginning in the 1930’s through 1968. The pattern depicts different center scenes on each object most derived from Illustrations from the
Art Journals
published between 1849 and 1865, with an outer trellis border of grapes, vines and leaves.  Reverse is stamped with the COPELAND SPODE ENGLAND mark used from 1920-1957, impressed from N50 to
Y51
for 1950-51, and
COPELAND SPODE IMPERIAL
Each measure 10 ½” in diameter
In very good condition free of chips, cracks or repairs: there is light scratching and a few paint flakes on the green rim commensurate with age and use, please see all photos
