c.1900 Copeland Spode Footed Cup & Saucer Golden State Variation 7055 England

Recent Wilmington, NC estate find.
This listing is for a beautiful 2 1/4" footed cup and saucer by Copeland Spode in pattern 7055.  We could not find specifics on this pattern, assuming we are reading the pattern number correctly; however, it is the same blanks as Golden State with more decorative elements.  The embossed floral motif has a color variation from Golden State and there are blue accent elements not found on Golden State.  This set carries the older Copeland Spode Earthenware mark, used from 1891 into the early 1900's.  For an early Earthenware, this set is in o
utstanding vintage
condition with no chips or cracks and shows only extremely light evidence of use.   The inside portion of the cup looks to be just slightly (maybe one shade) darker than the outside of the cup, there are a couple tiny specs in the glaze and some transparent micro crazing is evident, but really only visible on the underside of the saucer.  Other than these very slight inclusions, excellent overall condition.  The colors are vibrant
and the glaze has a very high sheen.
