Antique Victorian Edwardian Silverplate Floral Repousse & Leather Coin Purse
What I have to offer for your viewing pleasure here is this beautiful antique coin purse! This lovely and petite coin purse has a silverplate frame with a wonderful repousse floral pattern adoring it and we have kept it in its original state as we are including the 1903 Indian head penny that was in it when we found it! We assume it has been tucked away inside of the purse for the last 117 years it is such an adorable purse wanted to leave it the way it has been for over a century! The green leather is actually still in great condition and still feels soft and supple not brittle like a lot of antique leather purses do. It is not hallmarked anywhere that I have seen. It is in good overall condition for its age with a tear at the bottom and typical brassing wear to the plate frame. It measures 2.25" long by 1-3/8" wide.
