ANTIQUE GROUP OF 2 LARGE ROUND COPELAND SPODE TRANSFERWARE PLATTERS
From the Southampton estate of noted designer and taste arbiter Garrick Stephenson. A group of two antique ceramic large round transferware platters. The larger platter measures approximately 16 1/2" in diameter. The smaller platter measures approximately 15" in diameter. Both platters have surface dirt present. Both have some surface scratches and some small areas of wear to the transfer. The small platter has crazing to the glaze and what appears to be two hairline cracks near the edge on the underside. Both are marked on the bottom Copeland Spode England. The larger platter is additionally embossed Copeland Spode England with other production marks.
