Description

Beautiful antique copper plate engraving folio print on paper dating to 1875. Printing process is a copper engraving printing process ( etching ).  Print is on medium weight paper. Print is from an old incomplete art book which was written in French. Condition is good minus for the age with some foxing ( age spots ), and some minor imperfections.  One blank margin shows evidence of once being bound in the book. Print is full plate in size. The full size of the print is approximately 4.5 inches 6 7/8 inches.  Image size is approximately 3 inches by 4  inches.  Blank margins are approximately as shown in auction image. Print is blank in back.
