Wakestyle/Freestyle Setting
Similar to the adaptive tips, the Vegas offers two different settings, freestyle and wakestyle.
Back pigtail position A offers more delay, the Vegas is less direct.
Front pigtail position B offers less depower, more pop and being unhooked less pull.
Self Rescue Handles
These loops attached to the inside of the wingtips make it easier to hold the kite for bodydrag rescue.
North cam Battens
Our revolutionary and patent-pending Cam Battens are made of flexible nylon and improve the stability of the canopy and reduce the drag of the kite. The Cam Battens allow to achieve a deeper profile and make the kites more powerful. The deeper canopy combined with a round entry profile gives better stall resistance, which yields not only better low end power but also better hang-time. Cam Battens also give the kite much better upwind abilities and very good stability in the sky.
Loaded 5th Line
The loaded 5th line is a “nose line” with constant tension. It is responsible for reactive steering, powered as well as depowered and a crisp and direct bar feel. Only the 5th line system can guarantee 100% depower in less than one second when releasing the IRON HEART !

5th Element Trust Bar and Lines:
The North Trust Bar has made a name for itself in the kitesurfing industry and amongst the riders; it stands for unmatched safety and reliability. In 2016 the bar has been tweaked to perfection to achieve the best riding comfort possible; nonetheless it provides the rider with a unique control system that has safety rooted at its core.
North Wakestyle bar with  single PU coated depower line, larger chicken loop, narrower bar diameter and shorter bar can also be used to fly the Vegas. This bar comes with the option and spare parts to use the Hadlow set up.
